Kristine King
Known for professionalism and dedication, Kristine specialises in property, commercial, and trust law — with a particular focus on developers and traders.
She is a Notary Public as granted by the Archbishop of Canterbury — a rare credential in NZ — and is active in the wider legal community through webinars for organisations including ANZ and APIA.
By appointment only. Please bring original documents to your appointment.
Kristine joined Duncan King Law in the early 2000s and has been a director since 2010. Over more than two decades in practice she has built a reputation for getting the right answer the first time — particularly on complex property transactions, multi-party trust structures and the kind of commercial work that doesn't fit a template.
She is one of a small number of New Zealand lawyers to hold a commission as a Notary Public, granted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. This means she can authenticate documents destined for use overseas — essential for cross-border business, migration, property settlement and inheritance matters.
Outside of client work, Kristine speaks regularly on trust and property topics through webinars for ANZ, APIA and other industry bodies. She mentors junior lawyers in the firm and is closely involved in the Kingsland local business community.
